Glass of a partition and protective lattice of a body like "pickup"

Glass of a wind window of a body fastens in a window opening by means of a rubber sealant 1 (see rice. Installation of glass of a wind window). On the sealant face, in a special groove, the decorative edging 2 is established. Since 1997 the sealant without decorative edging is established.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. For removal of glass of a wind window it is necessary to press palms its top part from within a body. |
| 2. Not to break glass, the assistant has to support glass at the time of its exit from an aperture. |
| 3. Before installation of glass to check a condition of an aperture and if necessary to clear it of the remains of old mastic and to wipe with gasoline. |
| 4. If the removed sealant appeared in good shape, it can be used, previously having cleared and having wiped. |
| 5. Before installation of new glass in an aperture it is necessary to provide access to the lower part of an aperture for what it is necessary to uncover the dashboard previously. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To make installation of new glass in the following order. |
| 2. To put on a sealant 2 (see rice. Glass of a wind window before installation in an aperture) on glass 1. |
| 3. To enclose in a sealant groove the decorative edging 3. |
| 4. To close in corners the ends of the decorative edging slips 4. |
| 5. To enclose an assembly cord 5 in a sealant groove, having brought its ends out of a groove in the middle of the lower part of glass. (As an assembly cord it is possible to use a strong rope with a diameter no more than 7 mm.). |
| 6. To put glass outside to an aperture (see rice. Installation of glass of a wind window), having got a ledge 3 in the middle of the lower part for a flange of an aperture and having removed the ends of an assembly cord in a body. |
| 7. Evenly extending a cord from a groove in both parties and removing thereby a ledge 3 for an aperture flange, to insert glass into an aperture. |
| 8. When performing this work the assistant has to press glass to an aperture. Weak blows by a palm on glass for its more dense prileganiye are allowed to an aperture in the course of installation. |

Similar to removal and installation of glass of a wind window sidewall window glass, body back door glass like "hatchback" and glass of a window of a partition of a body like "pickup" as the profile of sealants of these glasses is almost identical with a profile of a sealant of glass of a wind window act and established.
Feature of removal of glass of a window of a partition of a body like "pickup" is need of preliminary removal of its protective lattice 1 (see rice. Glass of a partition and a protective lattice of a body like "pickup").
