9.7.1. Removal and dismantling of a bracket of a forward brake

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To turn out bolts of fastening of a bracket to a rotary fist.
2. To remove an intermediate arm of fastening of flexible hoses.
3. To turn out connecting nuts of pipelines from flexible hoses.
4. To turn off nuts of fastening of hoses to the arm located on a longeron, to remove spring washers (or, in case of fastening on the car of flexible hoses spring brackets, to remove the last) and to take out tips of hoses from arm openings.
5. To remove rubber caps 12 (see rice. Brake mechanisms of forward wheels) from valves 13 of production of air and to put on them the ends of pipelines. It will reduce an effluence of brake fluid from a hydraulic actuator. To remove a bracket from a brake disk.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To turn out tips of flexible hoses 11 of a bracket.
2. To remove a spring clamp 10.
3. To take out fingers 14.
4. To remove blocks 4.
5. To displace a frame 1 in the direction of removal of the case of cylinders from a support 2 and to take out a support from a frame, moving it in the direction of renting of blocks
6. To remove the case of 6 cylinders from a frame (it is possible to facilitate renting of the case of cylinders striking with torets of a frame in the pure board put on the massive basis).
7. To remove from the case of cylinders covers 7 and to take out pistons from big and small cylinders. For simplification of taking out of pistons from cylinders it is possible to use the compressed air given to cylinders through carving openings for fastening of flexible hoses. At the same time it is necessary to be careful and limit a possibility of free movement of pistons.
8. To remove covers from pistons.
9. To take out from the protocheck in the case of cylinders sealing rings. For simplification of taking out of the specified rings it is possible to use a self-made narrow shovel from strong breeds of a tree or plastic. Application of metal objects is undesirable as can lead to damage the protocheck under sealing rings.
10. The lower bolts of fastening of a case of coupling to the block of cylinders.

Check

Having executed the above-stated operations, it is necessary to check attentively all details, washout by their previously warm water with detergent and having dried up a stream of compressed air. To check whether is not present on the working surfaces of pistons and cylinders of wear tracks or jammings; if necessary to replace pistons and the case of cylinders assembled.

Zaboina, even small, on the working cylindrical surface of pistons are inadmissible, pistons are not subject to recovery repair.

The cylindrical surfaces of the case of cylinders at insignificant damages can be restored by grinding by a small grinding skin, at the same time it is necessary to grind only the damaged place.

In this case it is necessary to replace a spring, or as a last resort, to increase its rigidity, having reduced the radius of curvature of a middle part of a spring.

At considerable wear of the center of the basic platform of a frame (depth more than 1 mm from the ledge located in a middle part of a basic plate of an external block) it is necessary to restore the damaged place a metal naplavka by method of arc welding with the subsequent trimming.
