1. To remove the brake drum. |
2. To remove both coupling springs of blocks by means of nippers (see rice. Removal of a coupling spring of blocks of a back brake) and, moving apart blocks, to bring their ends out of cuts of basic cores of pistons. |
3. To disconnect the hydraulic actuator pipeline. |
4. To turn out two bolts of fastening of the wheel cylinder to a board and to take out the wheel cylinder from a back brake. |
5. To remove antisplash covers 13 (see rice. Brake mechanisms of back wheels) from the cylinder and the screw-driver inserted into a groove of a basic core to turn pistons on 90 °, rotating them in any direction. Then to take out pistons from a cylinder cavity. |
6. To remove from the piston a sealing rubber cuff 16. |
7. To turn out the valve of production of air 18 from the cylinder. |
8. To wash out details of the disassembled cylinder fresh brake fluid, to examine and establish suitability them to further work. |
9. Wheel cylinders on which working surface the deep risks or other defects leading to a leak of brake fluid are found should be replaced. |
10. Grinding of a working surface of wheel cylinders is not allowed because it will lead to loss of a tightness of persistent rings of the automatic device in the wheel cylinder and thereof – to loss of operability of the automatic device. |
