4.9.3.5.2. Camshaft

Carefully washed out and dry the wiped camshaft to examine, measure diameters of necks and to check a condition of surfaces of cams, necks and the clown. In the presence of zadir on cams the shaft for further operation is unsuitable.

Diameters of basic necks of the camshaft are equal: 45,97... 45,951; 44,97... 44,951; 43,97... 43,951 mm.

Gaps between bearings in a head and basic necks have to be within 0,025–0,089 mm.

At increase in a gap up to 0,11 mm the shaft should be replaced.

Grinding of necks of a shaft and cams at wear under the repair sizes is not allowed.

The most admissible gap between a yoke and its axis should not exceed 0,1 mm.
