Tags for installation of ignition

1 – an adjusting pin on the lower cover of distributive asterisks;

2 – An ignition advancing tag on 0 ° (V.M.T.);

Before dismantling of the engine it is necessary to turn a bent shaft clockwise to situation at which the piston of the first cylinder is in the provision of VMT of a step of compression (both valves are closed, and a tag 2 (see rice. Tags for installation of ignition) on a pulley of a bent shaft it is combined with an edge of adjusting inflow 1 on the lower cover of distributive asterisks). After removal of the conducted camshaft asterisk if it is not required to make further dismantling of the engine, then in order to avoid a chain soskakivaniye from teeths, without separating a chain with an asterisk, it is necessary to connect them among themselves by a wire – it will facilitate process of the subsequent assembly (fig. Prevention

It is not allowed to turn a bent shaft at the disconnected chain drive, but the head of cylinders which is not removed yet. Violation of this requirement will cause damage of valves owing to their contact with the piston bottom.

After removal of a head of the block of cylinders if it is not required to make removal of sleeves of cylinders for further performance of repair work, it is necessary to fix sleeves in the block by the levels holders established on hairpins of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders (fig. Otherwise, owing to friction of piston rings about a mirror of a sleeve of cylinders, sleeves can rise and under a persistent lower end face of a sleeve the scum or products of corrosion will get that can lead to violation of consolidation of sleeves and penetration of cooling liquid into an oil case of the engine.

Removal of the piston with rings and a rod assembled from a sleeve and installation in a sleeve should be made only from the lower aligning corbel of a sleeve or together with a sleeve. Pushing through of a rod through a sleeve is inadmissible as can lead to damage of a mirror of cylinders. Each piston should be marked with serial number of the cylinder. Besides, it should be noted the provision of each sleeve in the block and its serial number.
