4.9.3.1. Block of cylinders and sleeve of cylindersTo check whether exceeds a gap between the cylinder and the piston of 0,05-0,07 mm for the new engine and no more than 0,15 mm for worn-out.

Diameter of the cylinder is measured in four belts as in the longitudinal, and cross directions of the engine at distance of 10, 50, 100 and 125 mm from the top end face. Measurement you produce passimetry with the division price no more than 0,01 mm.
Diameter of the piston is measured at distance of 24,45 mm from the lower end face of a skirt of the piston.
Prevention
Sleeves of cylinders are broken into five dimensional groups: And, B, In, D through 0,01 mm. Dimensional groups on sleeves are designated by a color strip.

Ovality and conicity of a mirror of cylinders on the site of 10-110 mm from the top end face have to be no more than 0,010 mm for the new engine and 0,015 mm for repaired, and the bigger diameter of a cone is allowed only in the lower part of the cylinder. Sleeves of cylinders of one engine have to be one repair size.
