4.8.8.2. Check of the case of bearings of the camshaft

To wash out and clear the case of bearings of the camshaft and channels for an oil supply.

To check diameter of openings in support. If the gap between necks of the camshaft and support exceeds 0,2 mm (extreme wear), to replace the case of bearings.

Internal basic surfaces have to be smooth, without zadir; if there are damages, to replace the case of bearings.

To check whether there are no cracks on the case. If there are cracks, then to replace the case of bearings of the camshaft.

Adjustment of gaps between levers and cams of the camshaft is described in subsection 2.1.4 earlier.
