4.8.8.1. Check of the camshaft

To install the camshaft by extreme necks on two prisms placed on a test plate and to measure the indicator a radial beating of average necks which 0,02 mm should not exceed.

The camshaft refrains from axial movements by the persistent flange placed in ring bore of the forward end and attached by bolts to an end face of the case of bearings. The gap between a persistent flange and shaft determined by distinction of thickness of a flange and width of ring bore provides free rotation of a shaft.
