9.10.1. Adjustment of the regulator of pressure

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To install the car on a horizontal part of a platform or a viewing ditch.

Prevention

When checking on the car besides the driver the freight consisting of a spare wheel, the tool and 10 liters of gasoline in the fuel tank has to be placed.


2. To release a lock-nut 3 (see rice. Pressure regulator) adjusting bolt 1.
3. Rotating an adjusting bolt, to establish a gap about 0,1 mm between the spherical end of a bolt and the piston 25 of the regulator. To make control of size of a gap visually, at the same time inadmissibly to move a load core (a load spring at the pickup car) and details of the press lever. Existence of the gap which is visually observed on a gleam between a spherical part of a bolt and the piston – a sufficient condition of continuation of operation.
4. To screw an adjusting bolt in press the lever on 2 turns (on cars of fashion. 2335 pickup on 3 turns).
5. Holding an adjusting bolt from a provorachivaniye, to tighten a lock-nut.
6. After adjustment to carry out tests on the horizontal section of the road with a dry concrete covering and if necessary to modify adjustment.
7. To make braking at a speed of 50-60 km/h, smoothly increasing effort to a brake pedal before blocking of wheels of one of axes. The observer who is out of the car has to fix some advancing of blocking of forward wheels.
8. At earlier blocking of back wheels, holding from a provorachivaniye an adjusting bolt 1 (see rice. Pressure regulator) to turn off a lock-nut 3, then to turn out an adjusting bolt on 1/2 turns and to tighten a lock-nut, without allowing rotation of an adjusting bolt.
9. To repeat trial arrival. At too late blocking of back wheels it is necessary to wrap an adjusting bolt a little.
