Installation of the leading gear wheel when determining the assembly size C

Durability and noiselessness of work of the main transfer depend on the correct and accurate assembly.

At assembly the correct mutual installation of the leader and conducted gear wheels, installation of the leading gear wheel by the assembly size C has to be provided (see rice. Installation of the leading gear wheel when determining the assembly size C), and also the necessary side gap between teeths of the leader and conducted gear wheels is provided.

The assembly size C represents distance from an end face of the leading gear wheel to a differential axis. The theoretical assembly size is equal to 53,4 mm.

However at selection of couple on the control machine, for ensuring the correct contact on teeths and the receiving at the same time silent work conducted and conducting gear wheels move along the axes, thus the theoretical assembly size is broken. The error (within the admission) at production and processing of height of a head of the leading gear wheel gives additional change of the assembly size.

The assembly size From the leading gear wheel (taking into account the amendment) is provided with a set of adjusting washers 2 (see rice. Determination of thickness of adjusting washers) from 1,65 mm to 2,20 mm thick through 0,05 mm (thickness of adjusting washers: 1,65; 1,70; 1,75; 1,80; 1,85; 1,90; 1,95; 2,00; 2,05; 2,10; 2,15; 2,20). Quantity of the established adjusting washers – 2 pieces.

Control of the assembly size C is made at an inhaling of a nut of the leading gear wheel by a dynamometer key and measured by means of a micrometric rack (see rice. Determination of the assembly size With a micrometric rack).

The moment of an inhaling of 140-160 N · m (14–16 kgfs · м). A tolerance from the assembly size – 0,04 mm 0,02 mm.

After check of the assembly size the razukomplektovaniye of the details determining the assembly size C will lead to its change.

Adjustment of a side gap between teeths of the leader and conducted gear wheels and a pretightness of bearings of differential are made after installation of the leading gear wheel by the assembly size.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To wrap a nut from the conducted gear wheel against the stop that testifies to lack of a side gap.
2. Having turned the conducted gear wheel on 1–2 turns, to eliminate a zakusyvaniye of teeths if it appeared at a nut wraparound against the stop.
3. Then, wrapping an opposite nut, to establish a side gap of 0,1-0,15 mm. The side gap on any couple of teeths of gear wheels should not be less than 0,08 mm and more than 0,17 mm.
4. Increase of a gap has to be near smooth, the difference of a side gap of the located teeths should not be more than 0,03 mm. The greatest difference of a side gap for one couple of gear wheels should not exceed 0,06 mm.
5. The side gap is checked by rotary rocking in both parties of the conducted gear wheel, at the same time the leg of the indicator has to lean on tooth of one external end face of a gear wheel perpendicularly to the side surface of tooth.
6. When checking a side gap the leading gear wheel has to be blocked by a special arm.
7. The pretightness of bearings of differential after adjustment of a side gap in gear wheels of the main transfer has to be within 1,47–2,45 N · m (0,15–0,25 kgfs · м).
8. To make check of a pretightness of bearings a provorachivaniye of a main shaft by the included first transfer by a dynamometer key.
9. After performance of adjusting works to establish a speedometer drive reducer. The moment of an inhaling of the case of a reducer is equal to 14-20 N · to m (1,4–2 kgfs · м).
10. At installation of a reducer of the drive of a speedometer it is recommended to turn the conducted gear wheel of the main transfer for an exception of an utykaniye of teeths of a reducer to teeths of the leading plastic gear wheel on a differential box.
11. The conducted gear wheel of the main transfer privorachivatsya to a differential box flange with the moment of 70-85 N · m (7–8,5 kgfs · м).
12. When replacing cuffs of adjusting nuts to make a press fitting of cuffs from grooves of an adjusting nut, having sustained the size of 13 mm from a nut end face from its grooves to a cuff end face.
13. Before a press fitting of bearings of differential on a box pin from the conducted gear wheel it is necessary to establish the leading gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer.
14. It has to be established by a gear wreath to a differential box flange, at the same time the ledge on an internal surface of a gear wheel has to coincide with a hollow on a box pin.
