Transport strut
Removal of the transmission from the car and its return installation are possible only assembled with a coupling case.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. For simplification of removal of the transmission the wooden wedge 3 is entered into a crack between the pallet of the engine and a cross-piece of a forward suspension bracket (see rice. Posting of the power unit on forward support) that provides rigid fixing of the hung-out power unit, and position of the transmission out of the floor tunnel. |
2. The wedge is entered after a detachment of a back support of the engine, a reception pipe of the muffler, hinges of equal angular speeds and other knots attached to the transmission. |
3. At removal of the transmission it should be raised up and to move back, watching that the main shaft moved forward from a nave of the conducted clutch plate, without hanging on it and without damaging petals of a press spring. |
4. Before installation of the transmission it is necessary to fix the lever of switching off of coupling in the lower situation, having put a transport strut (or a level) between the lever and an arm of fastening of a cable of the drive of switching off of coupling (see rice. Installation of a transport strut and rice. Transport strut). |
