6.1.3. Corner of a longitudinal inclination of an axis of turnAdjustment of a longitudinal inclination of an axis of turn of a wheel

It is formed by the line passing through the middle of a support of a telescopic rack on a body of the car and the center of the sphere of the hinge on the suspension bracket lever and a vertical. Its adjustment is made in case the corner does not correspond to values (see the tab. Parameters of the unit of forward wheels), or for the purpose of elimination of withdrawal of the car from the direction of the rectilinear movement on the horizontal section of the road.
The main condition at adjustment – providing a difference of corners of a longitudinal inclination of an axis of turn of the left and right parties no more than 0 °30'.
For increase in a tilt angle it is necessary to reduce quantity of adjusting washers 2 between a cup of 1 hinge and a ledge on a bar 3 stabilizers.
The adjusting washer 3 mm thick allows to change a corner of a longitudinal inclination approximately on 0 °20'. The design of a suspension bracket provided nominal quantity of washers on each party on two pieces.
Installation or removal of adjusting washers is made after a detachment of a bracket 2 (see rice. A forward suspension bracket of the car) the stabilizer, turning off nuts 53 on a bar and extraction of a carving core of the stabilizer from a lever 4 eye at its average (approximately horizontal) situation.
If during removal of all adjusting washers on one party of the stabilizer it is not possible to provide the required tilt angle, then it is allowed how an exception, adjustment only the difference of these corners which is not exceeding 0 °30' due to installation of washers on the opposite side of the stabilizer.
