11.6.4.2. Ways of detection of malfunctions of MPSZ

Before search of malfunctions of MPSZ it is necessary to be convinced that not operability of the engine is not connected with violation of a power supply system because of refusal of a gasoline pump, the carburetor, a contamination of the fuel filter or with other malfunctions of the engine. It is also necessary to be convinced of lack of violations in electric connections of the MPSZ elements.

For search of malfunctions in the refused MPSZ there is a device, so-called, "a tester of the periphery of MPSZ".

It is intended for check of operability of peripheral elements and serviceability of an electrical wiring of MPSZ with the controller of electronic ignition of the M3313 type, and also high-voltage wires from conclusions of coils of ignition to candles.
The tester of the periphery imitates operation of the controller and carries out:

  – management of single accumulation of energy in coils of ignition and the category on spark plugs;
  – check of serviceability of the EPHH valve and sensor screw of provision of a butterfly valve;
  – check of operability of inductive sensors of a reference mark and angular impulses, semiconductor sensor of temperature;
  – and also indication of receipt of impulses from inductive sensors, courses of current in primary winding of coils of ignition etc.

For diagnosing of microprocessor system of ignition it is intended
"MPSZ tester"
.

It serves for measurement of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft, a corner of an advancing of ignition of rather marker pin on a flywheel of the engine, depression in an inlet pipe etc., and also carries out indication of giving of tension on the EPHH valve, conditions of the sensor screw of provision of a butterfly valve etc.

Range of the measured sizes:

  – frequencies of rotation of bent shaft 0-8000 mines-1 with an accuracy of ±10 min.-1;
  – depression in the inlet pipeline of 0-0,82 kg/cm2 with an accuracy of ±0,005 kg/cm2 etc.
