On the engine of fashion. 2106 the G-222 generator with the built-in small-sized integrated regulator of tension is installed.

Scheme of connections of the generator

1 – rechargeable battery;

Prevention

"Minus" of the rechargeable battery always has to connect to "weight", and "plus" – to be connected to a clip "30" ("") the generator. Wrong return connection of polarity of the battery will immediately cause the raised current via gates of the vypryamitelny block of the generator and they will fail.

Operation of the generator with disconnected from a clip "30" ("") wires of consumers is not allowed (especially with the disconnected rechargeable battery). It causes the dangerous increase in tension leading to damage of gates of the vypryamitelny block and regulator of tension.

It is not necessary to check operability of the generator "on a spark" even short-term connection of a clip "30" ("") the generator with "weight". At the same time through gates of the vypryamitelny block there passes considerable current and they are damaged. It is possible to check the generator only by means of the ampermeter and the voltmeter.

It is impossible to check chains of charging current the megohm meter or the lamp fed more than 12 V. If such check is necessary, then previously it is necessary to disconnect wires from the generator.

It is necessary to check durability of isolation of the stator the increased tension only at the stand and it is obligatory with the conclusions of phase windings disconnected from gates of the vypryamitelny block.

Gates of the vypryamitelny block of the generator should not be checked more than 12 V at all or the megohm meter as it has tension, too high for gates. In these cases gates when checking will be punched (there will be a short circuit).

At electric welding of knots and details of a body of the car it is necessary to disconnect wires from all plugs of the generator and the rechargeable battery.
