11.2. Block of safety locks and relay

The block of safety locks and the relay 174.3722 it (is uncovered)

1 – relay of inclusion of passing beam of headlights;
2 – back window glass heating inclusion relay;
3 – relay of turning on of the electric motor of the fan of the cooling system of the engine;
4 – relay of inclusion of a sound signal;
5 – relay of inclusion of fog lights;
6 – contacts under installation of fuses;
7 – contact crossing point;
8 – relay breaker of indexes of turn and alarm system;
9 – screen wiper relay;
10 – contact crossing points on the place of the relay of control of serviceability of lamps;
11 – relay of inclusion of driving beam of headlights

All safety locks and auxiliary relays are in the separate block installed in an airinflow box on the left side of the car. Via the block of safety locks and the relay (BPR) engine compartment wires connect to wires of the dashboard and interior of the car.

Conditional numbers of plugs in connecting blocks of BPR and color of the wires attached to them are specified on schemes of electric equipment, and the scheme of internal connections – see rice. Scheme of internal connections of the block of safety locks and relay.

Repair of BPR consists, generally in replacement of printed circuit boards.

The pripayka of wires instead of the fused current carrying paths on printed circuit boards is allowed, but only if the rassoyedineniye of printed circuit boards for this purpose is not required.

Prevention

When checking serviceability of the scheme of electric equipment of the car it is not allowed to close on "mass" of a wire since it can lead to burn-out of current carrying paths of BPR. To replace the fused inserts only new, corresponding to the most admissible value of current.


Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To uncover and take out from nests of BPR of the relay, a crossing point and safety locks.
2. To unscrew screws of fastening and to remove the top half of the case.
3. To take out the block of printed circuit boards from the lower half of the case.
