11.6.4.2.1. Verification of high voltage in high-voltage wires

Prevention

It is forbidden by electric current when checking on "spark" to hold a high-voltage wire in defeat avoidance by the unprotected hand.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Making effort only for a rubber cap, to remove a high-voltage wire from a candle of the 1st or 4th cylinder (it is equivalent since both wires bring tension from the same coil of ignition). To establish obviously serviceable spark plug in a wire tip nest and to arrange it on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders, having provided reliable contact of the case of a candle with "mass" of the engine.

2. To include ignition and to scroll the engine a starter. At serviceable MPSZ between electrodes of a candle has to voznvklyuchit ignition and scroll the engine a starter. At serviceable MPSZ between electrodes of a candle there has to be an electric discharge. To similarly check presence of high voltage in a wire to a spark plug of the 2nd or 3rd cylinder.

3. Malfunctions in power-supply circuits of coils or the controller, and also lack of signals from inductive sensors of a reference mark and angular impulses can be the reasons of lack of high voltage in high-voltage wires from both coils of ignition at the same time.

4. Malfunctions in the operating chain of the coil of ignition or failure of the coil can be the cause of lack of high voltage in high-voltage wires of one of coils.
