Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove a cover and the runner.

2. To unscrew screws of fastening of the vacuum regulator and to remove it.

3. To unscrew screws of fastening of the vacuum regulator and to remove it.

4. To unscrew two screws of fastening of a rack of the breaker and to remove a rack.

5. To remove a castle washer from an axis a breaker rychazhka, to disconnect a wire from a contact rack, having pressed the isolating plug and having overcome at the same time effort of a spring a rychazhka.

6. To remove a breaker rychazhok with the drive and the plug of low voltage.

7. To unscrew screws of fastening of the lower plate of the breaker to the case of the distributor and to remove it.

8. To separate mobile and motionless plates of the breaker.

9. For dismantle of a power shaft to remove a spring ring, to beat out a pin, to remove the cam coupling and to take out a shaft.

10. To take out a felt epiploon from an opening in a cam, to unscrew the screw of fastening of a cam.

11. To disconnect springs from a plate of a cam and to remove a cam together with a plate.

12. To remove springs and small weights of the centrifugal regulator and a cam.

13. To Vypressovat bearings if their replacement is required.

After dismantling to check a condition of a working surface of contacts of the breaker. In case of big transfer of metal from one contact on another to smooth out them the velvet file which is not applied to other purposes.

When cleaning to remove a hillock on contact of a rack of the breaker. It is not recommended to remove completely a crater (deepening) on contact a breaker rychazhka.

To wash out after cleaning contacts of the breaker gasoline and to wipe with the dry pure fabric which is not leaving fibers.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To make assembly of the distributor upside-down taking into account the following:

– to make a press fitting of new bearings on a manual or pneumatic press then special development to deploy them to diameter of 12,7+0,012-0,006 mm;

– before assembly a shaft of the distributor, an axis of centrifugal small weights, surfaces of small weights and plates of the centrifugal regulator to grease with LITOL-24 lubricant

2. At assembly of the distributor the following gaps have to be provided in connections:

– a longitudinal free wheeling of a shaft – no more than 0,35 mm;

– a gap between small weights and a plate of a cam – 0,2–0,5 mm;

– an axial free wheeling of a cam – 0,05–0,55 mm

3. The specified gaps are corrected by selection of adjusting washers.

4. After assembly of the distributor to dig 4–5 drops of engine oil in a distributor butterdish, 2–3 drops – on фильц a cam, 3–4 drops – in the plug of a cam and to check the distributor at the stand.

5. Installation of the distributor on the engine, and also installation of the moment of ignition are described in the section "Engines".
