8.7. Dismantling, check of technical condition and assembly of the driveshaftDismantling
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To mark a relative positioning of cardan hinges 18 (see rice. Steering), 21 relatively each other. |
| 2. To turn off a nut of a bolt of the 80th fastening of the lower cardan hinge 21, to take out a bolt 80 of a fork and to remove the hinge from a shlitsevy part of the driveshaft 19. |
| 3. To turn off nuts of fastening of the elastic coupling 20 and to disconnect a flange fork of the 57th top cardan hinge from the driveshaft 19. |

Check of technical condition
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To wash out all metal details in kerosene, and rubber details in warm water and to wipe with a pure rag. |
| 2. To attentively examine cardan hinges, having paid attention to a condition of sealing rings of 56 bearings. |
| 3. To check hinges for existence of gaps in bearings. At detection of damages cardan hinges need to be replaced new. |
| 4. To check a condition of the elastic coupling 20 and expansion plugs 61. Cracks, ruptures of a cord are not allowed. |
| 5. To perform inspection of hairpins of the 60th fastening of the elastic coupling and a restrictive plate. In the presence of wear tracks on cores of hairpins and openings under hairpins in a restrictive plate of a detail it is necessary to replace new. |
| 6. At damage of laying of a flange fork it needs to be replaced new. |

Assembly
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To install the 57th elastic coupling 20 and a restrictive plate on hairpins of the 60th flange fork. |
| 2. To put on laying and a flange fork the aligning pin of the 58th driveshaft 57 so that hairpins of a flange fork settled down in plugs of the elastic coupling. |
| 3. To wrap nuts of fastening of the elastic coupling; moment of an inhaling of 20-25 N · m (2–2,5 kgfs · м). |
| 4. To establish on shlitsevy the end of the driveshaft the lower cardan hinge 18 it agrees to the tags put before dismantling. |
| 5. In a fork of the lower hinge to establish a bolt 80, to tighten a nut; moment of an inhaling of 20-25 N · m (2–2,5) kgfs · m. |
