6.2.2. Check of technical condition of a back suspension bracket on the car

When checking which is made by visual survey and measurements it is necessary to check the following.

On details and welded seams of a beam, a cross bar and arms of fastening of a suspension bracket on a body there should not be cracks.

Bolts and nuts of fastening of levers to a body, a cross bar and shock-absorbers to a beam and a body have to be reliably tightened.

The beam, levers and cross bar should not have a noticeable bend.

Saylent-bloki and rubber plugs of levers, a cross bar and shock-absorbers should not have cracks and gaps.

Springs of a suspension bracket should not have cracks and draft.

Lack of draft of springs is checked previously by measurement of the size A (see rice. Back suspension bracket of the car) – the distance between a longeron of a floor and an axis of a head of a bolt of fastening of the shock-absorber (at loading in a body, equal mass of 4 people on 70 kg without baggage) has to be not less than 105 mm, and the difference of the sizes should not be more than 15 mm on the right and at the left.

The bar of the stabilizer should not have a gap in places of fastening to the flange plug.

An inspection of technical condition of back shock-absorbers should be carried out similar to check of a damping rack.
