11.5.2.4. Assembly of a starter

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before assembly to oil engine screw vents of a shaft of an anchor and a nave of the coupling, plug of both covers and a gear wheel, and a flood ring of the drive – LITOL-24 lubricant.

2. Prior to assembly it is necessary to check an axial free wheeling of a shaft of an anchor, previously having gathered covers, the case and an anchor and having tightened coupling bolts. At the same time the anchor can be without drive, and a cover 1 without lever. The axial free wheeling of a shaft has to be no more than 0,5 mm. Change of size of a free wheeling is reached by selection of thickness of an adjusting washer 10.

3. Having picked up an adjusting washer, start assembly which is carried out as it should be, the return to dismantling.

4. To put on a plastic tube the coupling bolt passing under the tire of consecutive coils of the stator 14.
