Restrictive plugs on screws of adjustment of system of idling of the DAAZ-2141 carburetor

Adjustment of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft on the mode
idling with control of toxicity it is carried out at a run of the new car of 1,5 thousand km and further through each 15 thousand km.

MODEL 2106 ENGINE

The engine of the car has to be adjusted on the minimum frequency of rotation of a bent shaft (850±50) of mines-1 and on the content in the fulfilled gases of SO carbon monoxide no more than 1,5%, and SN hydrocarbons – no more than 1200 million-1.

Full adjustment of system of idling of the carburetor needs to be carried out only at service station of cars according to the frequency specified in the service book. It is independently allowed to carry out only readjusting of system of idling in the limits determined by restrictive plugs 1 (see rice. Restrictive plugs on screws of adjustment of system of idling of the DAAZ 2141 carburetor) and 2 screws of quantity and quality of mix. Attempts to turn plugs on a big corner will lead to their destruction. In this case an excessive consumption of fuel the plant does not bear responsibility for the increased content in the fulfilled gases of SO carbon monoxide and SN hydrocarbons.

Readjusting should be carried out on the heated-up engine with a temperature of cooling liquid not below 80 °C, with the adjusted thermal gaps in the mechanism of the drive of valves, the correct installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition, at completely open air gate and the installed seasonal regulator of air supply to situation for an intake air in "summer".

Readjusting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To unscrew against the stop the restrictive plug 2 screws of quality of mix.  
2. To establish by the restrictive plug of 1 screw of amount of mix on a tachometer the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft (850±50) of mines-1.
3. To check correctness of adjustment of system of idling for what sharply to press a pedal of management of butterfly valves and to release it – the engine has to increase trouble-free the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft, and at its reduction to the minimum value on the mode of idling should not stop. If the engine stops, it is necessary to increase the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft the restrictive plug of 1 screw of amount of mix within the limiter.

Full adjustment of idling with control of toxicity of exhaust gases is carried out by the screws of amount of mix and quality of mix which are under restrictive plugs 1 and 2 (see rice. Restrictive plugs on screws of adjustment of system of idling of the DAAZ-2141 carburetor) in the following sequence:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove restrictive plugs from screws of quantity and quality of mix, having turned off them until destruction and to remove the broken-off parts.
2. On the working engine (without changing position of the screw of quality) to establish by rotation of the screw of quantity the frequency of rotation of a bent shaft of the engine within 850–900 min.-1 on a tachometer.

Prevention

The turn of the screw clockwise leads to reduction of frequency of rotation.


3. To establish by the screw of quality the content of carbon monoxide in the fulfilled gases within 0,8–1,3% on a gas analyzer with the probootborny device installed in an exhaust pipe of the car.

The turn of the screw of quality clockwise leads to reduction of content of carbon monoxide in the fulfilled gases.


4. Correcting adjustment of the carburetor screws of quantity and quality, to ensure steady functioning of the engine idling with a frequency of rotation of bent shaft 850-900 mines-1 and the content of carbon monoxide in the fulfilled gases no more than 1,5%.
5. To install restrictive plugs on screws of quantity and quality of mix (1 – an emphasis in an opening, 2 – an emphasis on the restrictive plug).
7. The restrictive plug 2 is installed only on the quality screw.

ENGINES OF MODELS 331 AND 3317 WITH "OZONE" CARBURETTORS

Adjustment of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft on the idling mode with control of toxicity is carried out similar to adjustment on the engine of fashion. 2106 behind an exception:

 – installation of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft (850±50) of mines-1 is carried out by the case 1 EPHH (see rice. Adjusting elements of system of idling of DAAZ-2140-50 and DAAZ-2140-70 carburetors), at the same time the turn of the case clockwise leads to increase in frequency of rotation;
 – the restrictive plug 2 is installed only on the quality screw.

ENGINES OF MODELS 331 AND 3313 WITH "SOLEKS" CARBURETTORS

Adjustment of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft on the idling mode with control of toxicity is carried out to similarly above adjustments behind an exception:

 – installation of frequency of rotation of a bent shaft (850±50) of mines-1 is carried out by the sensor screw 2 (see rice. Adjusting elements of system of idling of DAAZ-21041 and DAAZ-21041-10 carburetors), at the same time the wraparound of this screw leads to increase in frequency of rotation;
 – the safety plastic cap of 1 screw of quality is pressed in an opening of the case of the carburetor and can be removed by means of any sharp object (for example, sewed); at the same time it is damaged and after the end of adjustment has to be replaced by new.
